After growing the brand by a record 70 new hotels in 2006, Small Luxury Hotels of the World is continuing its upward trend with the addition of a further 20 hotels in the first quarter of 2007 alone, placing the luxury hotel brand well on track to reach its target of 450 hotels by year’s end.  (more…)

Asia’s first Ice Bar in Shanghai

Asia’s first ever “ice bar” is to open here on June 22. About 45 tons of ice to be used to build and decorate the bar arrived in Shanghai this week. It had traveled some 30,000 km from the Torne River in Sweden, which lies 200 km inside the Arctic Circle. (more…)
