The Duxton Perth turns 10
The Duxton Hotel Perth has recently celebrated its 10th birthday with An Asian Affair cocktail party inviting over 100 of their key corporate clients and sponsors.The invited guests enjoyed a wonderful Asian Affair celebrating the Hotel owners Singaporian ancestory and roots with a Singapore Sling on arrival, dragon dancers, acrobats, sword dancers and superb Asian cuisine.The Ballroom was perfectly themed with wonderful Asian flare and colour which created an authentic atmosphere.
David Chaplin, General Manager of the Duxton thanked the guests for their support and attendance and announced new initiatives and investments that the hotel would be making in state of the art technology with wireless IT in all rooms and electronic media to market the Hotel as well as having their own apprenticeship scheme next year through their RTO program, the first of its kind in Perth.
There were some fantastic prizes donated by the main sponsors of the event, Qantas, Linneys and Corporate Theatre, including a trip to Singapore for two with 5 days accommodation as well as a pearl necklace from Linneys.
The 10th birthday was a huge success and the management and staff were all dressed up in Asian costumes including Sean Spalding, EAM and Rory Campbell, DOS who were the perfect hosts making this event such a success.
10 years on the Duxton still looks like a new Hotel with a fantastic 5 star product and great people and wonderful service with the attention to detail that makes the Duxton the market leader in Perth.
