New Hospitality and Tourism Director

West Coast TAFE Joondalup has welcomed new West Coast Academy of Hospitality and Tourism Director Patrick O’Brien to its team. A chef by trade with 36 years of experience in Ireland, England, Germany and Australia, Mr O’Brien said his role was to develop the college into an internationally recognised training facility.”West Coast Academy of Hospitality and Tourism is one of the most outstanding training providers in WA”, Mr O’Brien said.

“Staff here have the best assessment criteria in the state. “I want to see this already strong reputation evolve to the point we are set as the benchmark for all other Australian Colleges.”

Patrick O’Brien has been involved with Tafe and training in WA for 16 years and has been a business owner for the past five years and is the Australian Culinary Federation of Western Australia President, Australian Culinary Federation national secretary and an administration assistant to the world Association of Cook’s Society Continental Director.

Patrick O’Briens experience and his reputation in the Industry as well as his  proven track record will ensure that West Coast Academy of Hospitality and Tourism will be the leading training provider in Australia.
